What time do we leave?

Full day charters leave at 5:30AM and arrives back around 4:30PM.  Please arrive 15 minutes early.

How much is the deposit?

A $500 deposit is required for a full day charter and can be paid online.  A Half day charter deposit is $300. The Captain will contact you after your deposit is received to confirm your trip date and details. 

How many people can fish on the charter?

The Teaser is approved for a party of 6 people.

What is provided on the charter?

Ice, bait and tackle.

Do I need a fishing license?

No, the Teaser has a blanket fishing license that will cover the charter. 

What should I bring with me?

Sunscreen, food, beverages, any needed medications, sunglasses and hat.

What if the weather is bad?

We understand that you travel great distances and plan for your trip, however weather issue can arise.  We will contact you the day before your charter to discuss the weather circumstances and safety.  If the Captain determines the weather is bad or has boat problems we will reschedule at no charge or refund the deposit minus the credit card fees.

Where is the boat located?

The Teaser Sportfishing slip is located on the Morehead City Waterfront, 600 Evans Street.

How do we tip the mate?

A typical tip is 15% - 20% of the charter price.  For a full day trip it is customary to tip at least $400.  The mate works hard for you prior to the trip, during the trip for you and after the charter.  Please show the mate how much you appreciate them. 

How do we pay the balance?

The balance of your charter can be paid by cash in person the day of the charter.  Balances paid by credit card will be charged a 3% surcharge.
